National Service

National service refers to the Corporation for National and Community Service programs: Senior CorpsAmeriCorpsthe Social Innovation Fund, and other programs and initiatives. More than 240 AmeriCorps members and 3,800 Senior Corps volunteers are meeting local needs, strengthening communities, and increasing civic engagement through national service in Kansas. This year, CNCS will commit more than $6,990,000 to support Kansas communities through national service.
