CSH advances solutions that use housing as a platform for services to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people, maximize public resources and build healthy communities.

Through this three-year Social Innovation Fund (SIF) award, CSH will select up to eight government agencies and services providers, nationally, and provide them with data readiness and developmental support to build their capacity to successfully harness Pay for Success financing to improve outcomes and reduce public sector costs for high-cost vulnerable populations. CSH’s proposed project will prioritize underserved populations including homeless and at-risk individuals, and disabled persons who are inappropriately institutionalized. This work will also strengthen and support the mission of the White House Data Drive Justice Initiative, in which CSH is a technical assistance partner. CSH sees great opportunity to build upon and accelerate its work with communities to effectively use data as a tool to expand supportive housing opportunities and as a lever to shift systems toward a focus on investing in what works and collaborating across the multiple entities that have a shared role in improving the lives of vulnerable populations.
