Senior Corps, Opioids, and Take Back Day: Joining a National Movement

2:00-3:00 PM ET, Wednesday, October 17, 2018

The second and final Take Back Day of 2018 is just around the corner! To get ready for Take Back Day – October 27, 2018 – we are going to shine a spotlight on how Senior Corps grantees all across the country are mobilizing older Americans in response to the opioid crisis. Joined by representatives of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, we will revisit the importance of disposal and the opportunity to engage in Take Back Day, building on a webinar we hosted prior to last Take Back Day, in April 2018. We will also speak with two Senior Corps grantees that are finding new ways to engage in opioid response, including not only disposal but also training and community education.
