Looking for a session that already occured? You can see a list of all trainings provided in the previous six months in the Senior Corps Training Archive. All previous trainings - and many other resources - are available in Litmos.

We encourage you to register for upcoming sessions beforehand, so that we can plan appropriately and get in touch if there are any last minute changes or updates. After registering, you'll receive a confirmation that includes a calendar invitation. Registration is not required to attend or access recordings. We use it only for planning and communications about the specific event you're interested in.

Protecting Older Americans from Scams and Financial Exploitation

Financial exploitation and scams are among the most common forms of elder abuse. We’ll be joined again by the Department of Justice’s Elder Justice Initiative to dig deeper into this topic. We’ll also hear from a Senior Corps grantee in Wisconsin that uses their volunteers to help stop fraud and scams.

Working with Elder Justice Professionals in Your Community

Do want to learn more about Adult Protective Services or the law enforcement community? Are you hoping to strengthen your connections with these organizations, or others in your community that work to protect older Americans? In this webinar, the Department of Justice will help introduce us to these vital partners. We’ll also here from members of the Senior Corps community who have successfully forged strong working relationships with these organizations in their own backyards.

Training Opportunities for Renewal Applications


Introduction to the 2018 Invitation to Apply

In this session, we'll provide an overview of the renewal process and review the Invitation to Apply, the document that outlines what you will need to include in your application. We will host two separate calls, one for the Foster Grandparent (FGP) and Senior Companion Programs (SCP), and one for the RSVP program. These calls will be recorded.

2018 National Performance Measure Requirements

This session will explore the new National Performance Measure requirements described in the Invitation to Apply in-depth. We'll look at specific examples and highlight how you might be able to use the new flexibility in these measures to enhance your program.
