Since 1924, University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (Pacific McGeorge) has produced experienced lawyers through traditional and leading-edge academic coursework enhanced by hands-on training. Located in Sacramento, CA - capital of the world’s eight-largest economy – Pacific McGeorge is within miles of regional, state, and federal government offices, municipal, state and federal trial and appellate courts, and a thriving legal and business community.

Pacific McGeorge offers comprehensive J.D., LL.M. and J.S.D. programs to meet the changing needs of the global marketplace. Leading the charge for dynamic curriculum, mentoring and experiential learning are its three Centers of Distinction: Global Business and Development, Public Law & Policy, and Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. From managing change in the complex and technology-driven global business landscape, to defining, refining and defending legislative issues, and clearly and confidently advocating the rights of people and ideas, the Centers do not merely reflect trends in laws – they innovate and influence theme – and offer students numerous opportunities to contribute meaningfully.

Pacific McGeorge faculty, staff and students serve communities around the world through a variety of channels, including the activities of its Institute for Administrative Justice, service at seven on-campus community legal clinics, an Education Pipeline Initiative to mentor underserved school children, and a host of foreign education and teaching projects, such as USAID Program to enhance the Rule of Law in China.
