University of New England School of Social Work

The UNE Master of Social Work (MSW) is an inclusive, student-centered, on-campus program in Southern Maine. The MSW offers flexible degree pathways attainable for busy people who aspire to make the world a better place.

The MSW program offers 3-tracks: Clinical, Community, and Integrated Practice and 3 unique certificate options, Applied Arts and Social Justice (AASJ), Trauma-Informed Practice, and Training in Aging Diversity (TRIAD), that can be obtained while completing your graduate studies. TRIAD includes a $10,000 stipend for students in their second year of study. UNE’s approach to Field Education is comprehensive, individualized, and hosts diverse placement sites that serve a range of populations and communities. The UNE SSW shares the values and commitment of AmeriCorps. We therefore offer a $1000 matching scholarship to AmeriCorps alumni.
