Baylor University Garland School of Social Work

The Garland School of Social Work (GSSW) prepares graduates to serve in a wide range of public and private settings, from schools and hospitals to prisons and foundations, with a diverse group of human service organizations in between. One of the competencies Baylor social workers develop is the ethical integration of faith and social work practice. This means preparing students to serve in congregations, religiously-affiliated and other faith-based organizations. With campuses in both Waco and Houston, Texas, students have an opportunity for diverse field education experiences. Email SWO@baylor.edu for more information.
