Sponsor an AmeriCorps NCCC Team

Sponsoring organizations request the assistance of AmeriCorps NCCC teams by submitting a project application to the regional campus that covers that organization’s state. The campuses provide assistance in completing the application, developing a work plan, and preparing the project sponsor for the arrival of the AmeriCorps NCCC team.

AmeriCorps NCCC Regional Campuses

AmeriCorps NCCC has four regional campuses located in: Denver, CO; Sacramento, CA; Vicksburg, MS; and, Vinton, IA. These campuses are the hubs from which AmeriCorps NCCC operates and deploys teams of members to service projects around the country. The staff at each of the AmeriCorps NCCC Regional Campuses support the NCCC teams, their members, and project sponsors as they engage in service activities to meet community needs around the country. Project Application:

AmeriCorps NCCC Traditional 

If you are interested in applying to sponsor an NCCC team, please complete a Project Concept Form. Follow the guidance provided in the Project Concept Form and Applications Instructions document to fill out and complete the Project Concept Form and submit it to your Regional Office with a digital signature.  

AmeriCorps NCCC Traditional – Disaster Response and Firefighting

If you are interested in applying to sponsor an AmeriCorps NCCC team in order to participate in a response to a recent disaster or a firefighting effort, please complete the Project Application for Disaster Response and Firefighting Projects. No Project Concept Form is required. Follow the guidance provided in the Project Application for Disaster Response and Firefighting Instructions document to fill out and complete the Project Application for Disaster Response and Firefighting. Submit this completed application to your Regional Office, with a digital signature, for consideration.  

The Project Application for Disaster Response and Firefighting is a rolling application. Please contact a NCCC Regional Campus for more information.  

AmeriCorps FEMA Corps

If you are a representative of an office within the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) interested in hosting an AmeriCorps FEMA Corps team to support capacity building efforts, please contact the FEMA Corps Section directly to submit a service project application. If you are interested in hosting and AmeriCorps NCCC Traditional team to support direct service efforts, follow the instructions above.  

Requesting Project Changes

If you already have an AmeriCorps NCCC Traditional team serving with your organization, you should complete the following Amendments to request changes to the project. See the instructions for the Application Amendment for more guidance on when completing and submitting is required. The desired changes to the project must be requested by the sponsoring organization and approved by AmeriCorps NCCC staff prior to them being implemented. These documents apply to both NCCC Traditional and Traditional Disaster Response and Firefighting projects.
