Update on National Service Trust Situation

State Commissions and National Directs,

Thank you to you and your programs for sending in documentation on your members.  We appreciate all the efforts that are going into gathering that information.  We have received feedback from you that faxes are not going through and thus checked with the National Service Hotline to determine what the issue was with fax transmission.  They have dedicated fax lines that were adequate to handle the number of faxes they received prior to this request for member documentation.  The number of faxes has more than tripled and thus the fax lines they have are constantly busy with the receiving your documentation.  That is the reason that faxes are not able to be transmitted. We have requested that the Hotline add more fax lines to accommodate the increased volume.

We are also moving forward on a non fax alternative.  The process has been fast tracked and is currently being tested.  We are hopeful that it will be available in the very near future.  As we have more information about both increasing the fax lines and other secure options for providing the documentation, we will share it with you.

We also expect to receive and be able to send out the member reports in the next day or two.
