Seeking Nominations for Excellence in AmeriCorps Programming and Service Awards

CNCS is delighted to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the third annual Excellence in AmeriCorps Programming and Service Awards, a special opportunity to spotlight extraordinary programs and AmeriCorps members serving communities across our country. The awards will be presented in honor of Iowa’s Senator Thomas R. Harkin, a long-time and tireless advocate for national service. The awards will be presented in four categories:

  2. Most significant enhancement to an existing program using AmeriCorps resources;
  3. Member with disability (ies) who significantly contributed to increasing the participation of other individuals with disabilities in national service (as AmeriCorps members, volunteers, or partners); and
  4. Most compelling member experience in either building an ethic of civic responsibility or having positive change in his/her life.

Eligible nominees will include programs and members from all AmeriCorps programs, including Tribal Programs funded by AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps State, AmeriCorps National, AmeriCorps NCCC, and AmeriCorps VISTA.
