AmeriCorps State and National Grants Competition- Intent to Apply Information

Per the 2018 AmeriCorps State and National Notice of Funding Opportunity, applicants are strongly encouraged, but not required, to submit a Notification of Intent to Apply. Notifications of Intent to Apply should be filed by Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

As of today, the Survey Monkey website through which we manage the Intent to Apply process is experiencing site issues, and the Intent to Apply link is not functioning properly. If you have not already submitted an Intent to Apply and intend to do so, please email with the following information:

  1. Your Type of Organization: Governor-Appointed State or Territory Service Commission or All Other Organizations (Not a State or Territory Service Commission)
  2. Description of Organization: Intend to operate a program in only one (single) state or territory, or Plan to apply for the AmeriCorps Indian Tribes funding opportunity, or Intend to operate a program in more than one state, or Plan to operate in a state or territory without a Service Commission (South Dakota, American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and U.S. Virgin Islands applications select this)
  3. Legal Applicant Contact: Legal Applicant Name, Mailing Address and Phone Number
  4. Contact Persons: Intent to Apply Contact Persons Name, Email, Phone Number
  5. Application Primary Focus Area: Disaster Services, Economic Opportunity, Education, Environmental Stewardship, Healthy Futures, Veterans and Military Families, Capacity Building
    a) For Commissions ONLY: Also provide estimated number of applications (new and recompete only) that you intend to submit

The Intent to Apply process applies to New/Recompeting applications only; Continuation applicants should not submit Intents to Apply.
