CNCS National Service School Improvement Symposium 2014

Corporation for National and Community Service Photo.The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) convened the National Service School Improvement Symposium to engage CNCS grantees in dialogue and training to turn around persistently low-achieving schools. Attendees included AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, and Social Innovation Fund grantees, as well as community partners. Attendees had opportunities to discuss both successes and challenges in school turnaround and improvement initiatives. They also were able to hear from educators, researchers and other subject matter experts, and to build greater connections with their peers.
