McDaniel College - 2012
RSVP 2013 Competition Appendix A Part 2 Funding Opportunities
An estimated 160 RSVP volunteers will serve. They will provide direct service or support services through a network of at least 15 sites, such as the Carroll County Bureau of Aging, Meals on Wheels, Caring Carroll, Carroll Food Sunday, Carroll Hospital Center, Shepherd's Staff, Carroll Arts Council, Carroll County Head Start, and others. The primary focus area of this project is Healthy Futures. At the end of the three-year grant, it is anticipated the sites will report one or more of the following outcomes: enhanced services through an increased number of beneficiaries served; an increase range of services; an increased duration for frequency of services; or the ability to sustain essential services. The CNCS federal investment of $15,068 per year will be supplemented by $20,390 in cost-sharing from McDaniel College.
