Dutchess County Community Action Agency, Inc.
15 AmeriCorps memberswill engage in direct service and capacity building activities with Dutchess County Community Action Partnership as well as four host-site programs in the community. Members will focus on meeting specific, critical needs demonstrated as needing attention in the community with regards to housing, financial literacy and employment services. At the end of the three-year grant cycle, as a result of the AmeriCorps engagement, low-income individuals in the community will demonstrate improved financial literacy, attain safe and affordable housing, and have gained employment. This project will operate under the CNCS focus area of Economic Opportunity. The CNCS investment of $199,450 will be matched with a projected $187,105 of in-kind and cash match.
