Legal Aid Society of Hawaii
Commission AmeriCorps State FY 2012
The Legal Aid Society of Hawaii's AmeriCorps Project Justice helps Hawaii's low-income, working poor, and veterans address their legal problems by filling the gap between the promise of justice for all and the economic and societal realities of our justice system. Members enhance the scope and impact of the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, partnering legal service agencies, and state Courts by providing intake services, education on legal rights and responsibilities, outreach, and legal assistance to clients. By working together to help others, members are better prepared to serve their communities in the future.
