Partners: National Disability Institute, Washington, DC: Asset accumulation, financial literacy, Real Economic Impact Tour providing access to Earned Income Tax Credit; national technical assistance provider to Disability Program Navigators at Department of Labor One Stop Centers. Syracuse University Burton Blatt Institute: NYS Medicaid Infrastructure Grant improving employment and economic stability; Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities; operator Department of Labor National Vets Technical Assistance Center. Tompkins Asset Coalition: Alternative Federal Credit Union, Challenge, Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins, Finger Lakes Independence Center, Ithaca Housing Authority, Lifelong, Tompkins Community Action, Tompkins Workforce NY: Advocacy, self-sufficiency, asset accumulation, financial literacy, employment supports.
Proposal: We will work with 14 small to medium sized non-profit organizations supporting individuals and families with disabilities and/or economic and social disadvantages, including Veterans with by assisting them to improve their capacity, develop, implement and sustain a performance management system. All partners are established in UWTC's HIPAA compliant, online data management software supporting Community Impact and Outcome-based Model and we know the types of services they provide that address the proposal priorities and the challenges they face in obtaining resources, and in building and sustaining the organizational capacity and infrastructure needed to provide services that achieve demonstrable outcomes.
Methodology: a) Integrated Resource Team development; b) Face-to-face training; c) Web-based training, resources and Community Impact Manager Integration; d) Post-training on-site consultation; e) Replication of the model locally, state-wide and nationally
