Legal Aid Society of Hawaii
Commission AmeriCorps State FY 2011
The Legal Aid Society of Hawaii's "Project Laulima," helps Hawaii's low-income and working poor solve their problems by connecting legal services, social services and the courts. Members provide legal or social services depending on their host site and work together as a team to help clients by referrals between agencies, collaboration on cases, training, and outreach. By working together to help others, members are prepared to serve their communities in the future.
