Open Government Participation allows members of the public to contribute ideas and expertise so that their government can make policies with the benefit of a wide range of views and information.
United We Serve aims to expand the impact of existing organizations by engaging new volunteers in their work and encourage volunteers to develop their own “do-it-yourself” projects. After passage of the Serve America Act, CNCS hosted a nationwide listening tour to gather input on our implementation of the legislation. We received thousands of comments through public meetings, conference calls, emails and web postings.
There are many ways for individuals and organizations to learn more and get involved in our programs.
