Fiscal Year 2014

Fiscal Year 2014 Budget

On January 17, 2014, President Obama signed H.R. 3547, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014.  This legislation provides $1,049,954,000 for the Corporation for National and Community Service and its programs, a 5.6 percent increase over last year.

The legislation restores the agency to its pre-sequestration level and provides funding for AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, and other important CNCS programs that support millions of Americans in building community solutions to our most pressing challenges. Among other highlights, the budget will significantly increase investments in evidence-based solutions through the Social Innovation Fund, bolster Governor-appointed State Service Commissions, and strengthen our ability to measure and enhance performance.  Across all our programs, the budget will move us forward on expanding economic opportunity, driving innovation and partnership, growing national service and volunteerism, and demonstrating impact.
